ACR Drilling is contributing to Togo’s ongoing efforts to expand access to potable water and strengthen water infrastructure through the deployment of five ACR-800T drilling rigs.
These drilling rigs, supplied by ACR Drilling, are being utilized as part of Togo’s broader water-well development initiatives, supporting drilling operations in different regions of the country. With their high drilling capacity and robust design, the ACR-800T rigs are well suited to the challenging conditions often encountered during deep water-well drilling.
The five ACR-800T drilling rigs are being deployed to support water-well drilling activities across Togo’s regions. Their deployment forms part of the country's efforts to increase the availability of groundwater resources and improve access to reliable water supplies, particularly in areas where reaching suitable groundwater requires deeper drilling.
According to information published by Togo’s Ministry responsible for water resources, the newly acquired drilling equipment is intended to strengthen the country's capacity to develop new water points and respond to growing demand for potable water.
The project represents an important step toward increasing local drilling capacity and accelerating the development of water infrastructure in communities across the country.

The ACR-800T is a high-capacity truck-mounted drilling rig designed for demanding drilling applications. With a drilling capability of up to 800 meters, the rig provides the depth and operational capacity required for challenging water-well projects.
Its truck-mounted configuration also provides the mobility required to operate across different project locations, making it particularly suitable for large-scale water-well development programs where drilling teams need to move between multiple sites.
For groundwater projects, where water-bearing formations can occur at significant depths, the ACR-800T provides the necessary drilling performance to reach deeper formations efficiently.
The deployment of the ACR-800T rigs in Togo supports applications extending beyond potable-water supply. The drilling equipment can also contribute to the development of wells for agricultural irrigation, helping expand access to groundwater for both communities and productive activities.
Togo's water-development strategy includes the construction of autonomous water supply systems and additional water points in areas where access to potable water remains a challenge. Increasing the country's drilling capacity is an important part of this effort.
By providing high-capacity drilling equipment, ACR Drilling is supporting the infrastructure required to access groundwater resources and develop new water supply projects.

Successful drilling operations depend not only on equipment but also on the knowledge and experience required to operate it effectively.
As part of the equipment deployment, technical support and knowledge transfer can play an important role in helping local drilling personnel operate and maintain the rigs effectively. Building local operational capacity contributes to the long-term sustainability of water-well development programs and allows drilling activities to continue efficiently across different project sites.
