Uninterrupted Operational Excellence: ACR Drilling Delivers 8 ACR800D Rigs to Uzbekistan’s Private Sector for Strategic Uranium Exploration
ACR Drilling, a leading manufacturer of drilling rigs and heavy industrial machinery, has further strengthened its strategic footprint in Central Asia. Following its proven track record in large-scale state infrastructure projects, ACR Drilling has completed the deployment of 8 units of the ACR800D uranium drilling rigs to private sector contractors in Uzbekistan as of the first half of 2026.
This operational milestone encompasses full end-to-end delivery, on-site assembly, rigorous testing, operator training, and the successful completion of the initial spudding (first well drilling) across challenging uranium exploration sites.
800-Meter Depth Capability in Strategic Mining Zones
Tailored specifically to meet the rigorous demands of private sector mining contractors, the ACR800D series is engineered to perform reliably under extreme geographical and climatic conditions.
Featuring an 800-meter drilling depth capacity, these heavy-duty rigs deliver high torque output and operational stability, fulfilling all technical requirements for deep-well mineral exploration.
ACR800D Technical Configuration
-
Depth Capacity: 800 Meters (Uranium & Deep Mineral Exploration)
-
Main Power Engine: 423 HP MAN Industrial Diesel Engine
-
Mud Pump System: 6x8 Duplex ACR Drilling Original Production
-
Standards: API / ISO Certified Heavy-Duty Compliance
High-Performance Drive & Circulation: 423 HP MAN Engine & ACR Duplex Mud Pump
The ACR800D rig is powered by a 423 HP MAN industrial diesel engine, ensuring continuous power transfer and optimal torque under heavy mechanical loads.
Fluid circulation and hole stabilization are managed by ACR Drilling’s proprietary 6x8 Duplex mud pumps, manufactured in-house at the company's integrated production facility in Konya, Turkey. Equipped with automatic lubrication and balanced damping features, these pumps ensure rapid cuttings evacuation and wellbore integrity down to 800 meters.
Turnkey Field Services: Installation, Training, and First Spud Completed
Aligned with ACR Drilling’s commitment to providing lifetime field engineering support, specialized mechanical and drilling engineers from the Konya factory were dispatched directly to the project sites in Uzbekistan.
The engineering team directed the full deployment lifecycle:
-
On-site assembly and structural integration.
-
System calibration and no-load/full-load testing.
-
Advanced theoretical and practical training for local operators.
-
First spud execution, successfully reaching target depths without operational downtime.
"A Trusted Engineering Partner for Uzbekistan's Private Sector"
Commenting on the successful dispatch and commissioning, ACR Drilling executives highlighted the company's expanding presence in the region:
"Our proven 'zero downtime' record in large-scale public and defense-status projects in Uzbekistan has made ACR Drilling the primary choice for private sector energy and Uranium mining contractors. With the delivery of these 8 ACR800D units in the first half of 2026, we shipped not only heavy engineering equipment, but also the enduring trust and precision manufacturing of Turkish industry. Our field engineers remained on-site until the first wells were successfully spudded. We remain dedicated to empowering Uzbekistan's mining ecosystem."
Regional Logistics and Lifecycle Support
The growing fleet of ACR Drilling machinery operating across Uzbekistan is backed by an established regional logistics network and local spare parts inventory. Operating in full compliance with API and ISO standards, ACR Drilling continues to deliver custom-built rigs, mud pumps, and aftermarket services to energy and Uranium mining markets across Central Asia, Africa, and Europe.
